Welcome to Desert School - Wamsutter,
It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as principal at Desert School. Parent involvement is essential in creating the best educational experience for students, and we encourage communication between home and school. We have an awesome group of teachers and staff that are committed to providing our students with the highest quality education and care. Our goal is to foster and nurture a passion for education in a positive school environment. We will strive to make Desert School the focal point of our Wamsutter community.
Prior to being appointed principal here at Desert School, my 24 years of educational experience includes teaching Agricultural Education, Biology, Ecology, and Physical Science in Tennessee. In addition to my teaching experience, I have also served as principal of a PreK-4 Elementary School, and a K-12 Alternative School, as well as District Athletic Director. I received my BS degree in Animal Science and Secondary Education from Middle Tennessee State University (Murfreesboro, Tennessee), and my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University (Nashville, Tennessee).
